Kitchen Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Communicate daily duties and checklists with staff. Oversee staff duties and be responsible for staff getting duties completed each day.  Assist in implementing procedures and over seeing that they are done each day.
  • Preparing the kitchen for lunch, making orders, cooking and baking.
  • Oversee taking customer orders and providing customer service.
  • Manage inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
  • Meet with food vendors, ordering and receiving product, and data entry.
  • Have a working knowledge of computer processing, WORD, and have the ability to learn new programs.
  • Assist in streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times.
  • Working with other Managers to maintain the restaurant menu, and procedures.
  • Assist with Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels. Maintain all kitchen appliances.
  • Flexibility to work during large company events and weekends.
  • Ability to be a team player in a small business and to have an attention to detail.
