Fall Farm Fun!

*****FALL FESTIVAL WEEKENDS!*****

WHEN: Every Saturday & Sunday for 5 WEEKENDS beginning SATURDAY, September 27th THROUGH SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  

COST:  The entrance fee to The Fall Harvest Festival and Family Playgrounds is $15.00 per PERSON (plus tax), for children and adults.  Children age 2 and under are free!   (Our everyday entrance fee to the Family Play-Grounds is always $6.00 per person.   The Fall Festival event is an additional $9.00 if wanting to attend, for a total of $15.00 for admission, plus tax.)  PUMPKINS SOLD SEPARATELY at .75 cents per pound. **2025 Fall/Winter Season Passholders only pay the Fall Festival event fee of $9.00, since the Season Pass already gives access to the Family Playgrounds until February 28, 2026.

UPON ARRIVAL TO BRAEHEAD FARM ON FALL FESTIVAL WEEKENDS, YOU HAVE 3 OPTIONS!

  1. PICK-YOUR-OWN front fields – no admission fee to enter this area. You pay for anything you pick. Flowers, Sunflowers, Vegetables and Raspberries, and of course, PUMPKINS! Pumpkins are .75 cents per pound. Check in with the front informational tent or a cashier for field directions or help with pricing. Or you can purchase PRE-PICKED pumpkins and gourds. Shop in the market and stay for lunch and ice cream!
  2. Family Playgrounds Admission fee – See a Market cashier or any outside cashier for a WRISTBAND for entrance to the Family Playgrounds. Play on the grounds or in the hay barn, picnic and see the animals. $6.00 per person (children and adults), age 2 and under free (plus tax).
  3. Add on The Fall Festival Event to the Family Playgrounds fee – for an additional $9.00 per person (children and adults), age 2 and under free, for a total of $15.00 per person (plus tax), you can get a WRISTBAND to enter the Fall Festival area of the farm.

PAY IN THE MARKET or at ONE OF OUR OUTDOOR REGISTERS, get your WRISTBAND to wear in the Family Playgrounds and Fall Festival and join us for:   

  • Hayrides around the farm and through the decorated forest!
  • A corn maze!
  • A scavenger hunt game through the corn maze to find out who stole the farmer’s pies!  So much fun!  Also, educational info along the way!
  • Stroll along the Sunflower walk!
  • PHOTO OPS!  Bring your cameras for these photo ops!  Be sure to visit the Great Pumpkin for a photo op in the pumpkin patch and more!`
  • Play and picnic in the “Family Playgrounds” with the hay barn, corn pit, swings, sand piles, slides, visit the many farm animals and more!
  • Pumpkins are sold separately at .75 cents per pound. (Pumpkins not included in the Fall Festival price.) 
  • We have pumpkin patches where you can pick the perfect color and size pumpkin!  ALL PUMPKINS ARE SOLD AT .75 CENTS A POUND!
  • Visit the Braehead Farm Kitchen for Concessions such as Kettle Korn!   Fresh Apple Cider, dairy fresh ice cream cones including Pumpkin ice cream, candy apples, whoopie pies, cotton candy, pretzels, popcorn, apple cider and more!
  • Braehead Farm Kitchen lunch items include our delicious Braehead Farm BBQ with your choice of one of our delicious BBQ sauces!  Hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, chicken salad, grilled chicken, and more!  Gluten Free items too!  You can bring your own lunch!
  • Braehead Farm will also have a different food vendor attending each day to offer more variety!
  • Shop in the Braehead Market and Bakery for already picked pumpkins, fresh apples and cider, jams, sauces, local honey, dairy fresh ice cream, milk, pork, fresh baked pies and cakes and so much more!
  • There is never an admission in the front “pick-your-own fields”, you just pay for what you pick!  We will have lots of pumpkins, squashes, gourds, flowers, sunflowers to pick!  Grab a wagon and pick, then roll it into the market to purchase or you can check out at one of the outdoor checkouts!  You can also join in the Fall Festival in the back of the farm.  Just purchase your wristband at an outdoor or indoor checkout.

 

*Weekday Fun! The Family Playgrounds is $6.00 per person, age 2 and under free (no festival/no hayrides during the weekdays.)

During the weekdays at Braehead Farm we are Open Daily from 9-6.  Activities during the week, including the October 13th holiday are…

  • Play in the “Family Playgrounds”!  $6.00 per Person, age 2 and under free!  Farm animals, hay barn, tree house, sand piles, swings and more!  Enjoy many of the Braehead Farm lunch items and picnic!  (The Fall Festival Area is closed during the weekdays.)  Visit our front “Pick-Your-Own” fields for the perfect pumpkin (no admission) pumpkins are sold at .75 cents a pound.    
  • Shop in the Braehead Farm Market where you can purchase a pumpkin already picked!   Enjoy an ice cream cone, popcorn, kettle Korn, fudge, apple butter, cookies, muffins and more!

Note: We do not operate hayrides during the weekdays for guests in the “Family Playgrounds”.  Hayrides during the weekday mornings are reserved and paid for by school groups. Hayrides for guests are on the weekends in the Fall Festival only.

A note for our weekday guests: We do have school groups that come during the week and pick pumpkins, tour the farm, get a reserved hayride and educational lessons.  The groups arrive between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.  Their tours will be spread out around the farm for these lessons and take about two hours, and then they eat lunch.   We do limit the amount of children coming on a school group as to not overload the farm or a tour group.

Current Produce Field information:

  • Blackberries are starting a new crop and have a low yield at this this time – Pick your own is $3.99 per 1/2 pound (about a pint container). Pre-picked in the market – $4.99 per 1/2 pound.
  • Raspberries are less plentiful now but still some to pick until frost. – Pick your own is $2.99 per 1/4 pound (about a 1/2 pint container). Prepicked in the market is $3.99 per 1/4 pound.
    Blueberry and Strawberry season has ended.
  • Available to pick or purchase in the market: Okra, green beans, yellow squash, zucchini, eggplant, beets, carrots, hot peppers, bell peppers, sweetpeppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and GRAPES! Also a variety of flowers and sunflowers!
  • We are open rain or shine-NO RESERVATION NEEDED TO VISIT!  There is no admission fee to the front pick-your-own fields, just pay for what you pick!

Braehead Farm Market: Purchase fresh baked cookies, pies, and loaf cakes! The Market is full of jams, ciders, honey, elderberry syrup, bakery items, fresh free range chicken eggs, fresh dairy, fresh meat and more! There is also fresh prepicked produce!

  • MUFFINS: Peach, Cranberry Orange Nut, Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate with chips, Pumpkin, Blueberry, Banana Nut, Lemon Poppyseed, Red Velvet, Rum Butter.

*Daily Play in The Family Playgrounds (where the animals are!) – no reservation needed. The daily admission is $6.00 per person, children and adults.  Age 2 and under are always free.    You pay this admission in the market when you arrive.  You can visit the farm animals, play in the hay barn, play equipment and picnic.  We also offer a Seasonal Pass for unlimited visits during the 6 month pass dates.  It is $25.00 per person, age 2 and under free.

The Braehead Farm Lunch Kitchen is open weekdays from 11am-3pm and weekends from 11am-4pm.  You can picnic beside the market or in the Family Playgrounds if you have paid admission.  We do have limited table spaces inside the market for lunch and ice cream.
