We are open rain or shine-NO RESERVATION NEEDED TO VISIT!  There is no admission fee to the front pick-your-own fields, just pay for what you pick! 

Field update: Asparagus is in the market. Asparagus is the only produce that cannot be “pick your own”. We also have lettuce, collards, swiss chard, mustard, bock choy.

We have Pick your own and Prepicked strawberries through May. Check in with the Market on arrival for field instructions.

Braehead Farm Market: Purchase fresh baked cookies, pies, and loaf cakes! The Market is full of jams, honey, elderberry syrup, bakery items, fresh free rang chicken eggs, fresh dairy, fresh meat and more! There is also fresh prepicked produce!

*Daily Play in The Family Playgrounds (where the animals are!) – no reservation needed. The daily admission is $6.00 per person, children and adults.  Age 2 and under are always free.    You pay this admission in the market when you arrive.  You can visit the farm animals, play in the hay barn, play equipment and picnic.  We also offer a Seasonal Pass for unlimited visits during the 6 month pass dates.  It is $25.00 per person, age 2 and under free.

The Braehead Farm Lunch Kitchen is open weekdays from 11am-3pm and weekends from 11am-4pm.  You can picnic beside the market or in the Family Playgrounds if you have paid admission.  We do have limited table spaces inside the market for lunch and ice cream.  OPEN DAILY! SPRING, SUMMER AND EARLY FALL HOURS ARE 9AM-6PM starting on March 8, 2025.  OUR WINTER HOURS ARE 9AM-5PM STARTING ON NOVEMBER 2, 2025. 

Admission: The Family Playgrounds is a $6.00 (+tax) per person admission area of the farm. Age 2 and under are free.    This admission gives you unlimited hours of same day play during business hours and includes:

• FARM ANIMAL RESCUE MISSION!  Braehead Farm has many animals for you to see!  These animals are all rescues from various situations and have been brought to Braehead Farm to live!   Our farm animals include….chickens, cows, pigs, goats, alpacas, sheep, horses, donkeys, rabbits…and honey bees to watch in their visual hive!
• Picnic tables!  Bring your own picnic or enjoy our Braehead Farm Kitchen!  The Kitchen is open from 11am-4 pm weekends and weekdays 11am-2 pm .  Delicious BBQ, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken salad and more.
• Fire pits with picnic tables to rent!
• Age 2 and under are free!
• The Family Playgrounds also offers two barns – “The Red Shed” and “The Block Shed”,  for hosting your own events and birthday parties.

Season Passes!  Enjoy unlimited, daily play in the Family Playgrounds during operating hours with a Season’s Pass.  A Seasonal Pass is $25.00 per person, age 2 and under free.   The Spring Summer Season Pass starts for use on February 19, 2024 and goes through Labor Day, September 2, 2024.  We then start our Fall Winter Season Pass from pre-sales starting on August 19, 2024 through February 2025. (6 months)  See cashier for details!

Note: Some special events will not be included in the pass or will have a  separate or additional fee, such as our Fall Festival and Santa Event.  Season Passes are non transferrable to other people and is non-refundable.  The pass does not include staff led farm educational field trips and tours.   They also are not for use of the barn rentals.  Barn rentals are a separate fee with counted wristbands.  The pass is for entry to the Family Playgrounds only and is not related to rental barns or field trips or special event fees.
