May 30, 2025 update: blueberries, raspberries and a couple rows of black raspberries are just starting to come in, a bit early! They will be more plentiful in about 7-10 days. Blackberries in June! No prepicked berries in the market as of this date. When they become more plentiful, the market will have berries.

MAY 30, 2025, Strawberries are winding down and ending early this year for all of the East Coast/Virginia growers. There is a small amount of berries that will continue to ripen for a couple of weeks. We will not have any pre-picked strawberries in the market.

Gather with friends for a farm roast! Here at Braehead Farm we have fire pits, with picnic tables under shade trees in the Family Playgrounds!  These fire pits and tables can be reserved for your special group!   Each fire pit and picnic table (table seats about 10 adults) area is $55.00 and includes the wood for the fire, our staff will get the fire going and will extinguish the fire when finished.   This firepit fee does not include our daily admission fee to the Family Playgrounds of $6.00 per person, age 2 and under free.  Also, during an event such as Fall Festival or the Santa Event, there is an event fee to enter into the event.

Season Passes!  Enjoy unlimited, daily play in the Family Playgrounds during operating hours with a Season’s Pass.  A Seasonal Pass is $25.00 per person, age 2 and under free.   The Spring Summer Season Pass starts for use on February 19, 2024 and goes through Labor Day, September 2, 2024.  We then start our Fall Winter Season Pass from pre-sales starting on August 19, 2024 through February 2025. Note: Some special events will not be included in the pass or will have a  separate or additional fee, such as our Fall Festival and Santa Event.  Season Passes are non transferrable to other people and is non-refundable.  The pass does not include staff led farm educational field trips and tours.   They also are not for use of the barn rentals.  Barn rentals are a separate fee with counted wristbands.  The pass is for entry to the Family Playgrounds only and is not related to rental barns or field trips or special event fees.

SANTA IS COMING TO BRAEHEAD FARM THE FIRST TWO WEEKENDS IN DECEMBER!  

DECEMBER  6, 7, 13, AND 14 2025.  Santa will be waiting in the Red Shed to visit with you! 

Santa will be in The Red Shed sitting in his BIG HAY CHAIR, waiting for you to visit him from 9:30 -12:30 and 1:30 – 4:30. No waiting in line! Go play until your number is shown on the screen!
